Location

New Vision classrooms are strategically placed in the hub of the

occupational community of the chosen course of study.

Interdisciplinary Approach

Student study senior level English and Social Studies within the

context of the chosen program. They learn to relate their academics and

occupational skills to a variety of situations.

Broad Based Professional Curriculum

Students develop a wide variety of career oriented skills and competencies.

Program Objectives

New Visions - Law & Government 

New Vision Law and Government is a one-year program that offers high school seniors the opportunity to explore careers existing within

law and government. New Vision students explore career options not offered at the home school.


This dynamic program grants students an

interdisciplinary curriculum with practical experiences in professional settings at local law and government organizations. 


An exploration for students interested in pursuing post secondary study in law and government careers, this innovative program includes immersion experiences that will meet requirements in CTE

studies, senior English, and Social Studies. The subject matter covered throughout the course includes a variety of legal studies, including contracts, evidence, and trial procedure, to name a few, along with topics in government and political science, including frequent review of current local, state, and federal issues and the politics involved in new and old legislation.


Furthermore, students have opportunities to earn college credit in English and Government, giving them a head start in college. This program serves as an excellent preparation for students going to college in a

related law and government major.

and hospitals. 




For students interested i n pursuing post-secondary study in Allied Health careers, this innovative

program includes immersion experiences that will meet requirements in CTE studies, senior English, and

senior Social Studies. Students have opportunities to experience rotations in physical therapy, maternity, and pediatrics, just to name a few. Furthermore, students have opportunities

to earn college credit in English, giving them a head start in college. This program serves as an excellent preparation for students going to college in a related Allied Health major.
